HOW TO CLEAN YOUR LARGE EQUIPMENT, VEHICLES, AND FLEET THE FCS TOUCH-LESS WAY!

  • Using a our soap products with a foaming agent like our #1B-F allows you to put the chemical where you need it. The foam will also remain in contact longer with the dirt/grease/oil to ensure thorough cleaning when you rinse. 
  • Do not let chemical dry between steps. Streaking will occur. 

1-STEP WASHING YOUR AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT

Most large agricultural equipment will simply need the spraying of a high pH (alkaline) detergent, followed by a high pressure rinse.

Wash your equipment from the front towards the back in sections of 8-10 feet wide.

  1. Using your pressure washer, apply a high pH detergent to the vehicle surface from the bottom of the vehicle to the top of the vehicle.
  2. Allow for a short dwell time 45-60 seconds. DO NOT ALLOW  the chemical to dry on the surface
  3. Rinse your Bus, section by section, from top to bottom using warm water (90°F – 100°F). Maintain your high pressure nozzle, with a spray angle of 15° – 45°, within 18 inches of the surface.
Repeat Steps 1-3 until your truck is clean.
Our most popular high pH product to use is FCS #2, FCS #2A or Film Fighter.

1-STEP WASHING YOUR BUS

Most buses will simply need the spraying of a high pH (alkaline) detergent, followed by a high pressure rinse. Wash your bus from the front towards the back in sections of 8-10 feet wide.

For municipalities, schools, and companies struggling with hard water conditions, our Film Fighter is the 1 step detergent of choice.

  1. Using your pressure washer, apply the high pH detergent to the vehicle surface from the bottom of the vehicle to the top of the vehicle.
  2. Allow for a short dwell time 30-45 seconds. DO NOT ALLOW the chemical to dry on the surface
  3. Rinse your Bus, section by section, from top to bottom using warm water (90°F – 100°F). Maintain your high pressure nozzle, with a spray angle of 15° – 45°, within 18 inches of the surface.
Repeat Steps 1-3 until your bus is clean.
Our most popular high pH product to use is FCS #2 General Wash or FCS #2B Neutralizer.

2-STEP WASHING YOUR SEMI-TRAILER

Starting from the front of the trailer, wash towards the back in sections of 8-10 feet wide.
  1. Using your pressure washer or foamer system, apply the 1st Step detergent (a low pH/acid) to the vehicle surface from the bottom of the vehicle to the top of the vehicle.
  2. Spray 2nd Step detergent (a high pH/alkaline) directly on top of the 1st Step detergent.
  3. Allow for a short dwell time 30-45 seconds. DO NOT ALLOW the chemical to dry on the surface
  4. Rinse the semi-trailer, section by section, from top to bottom using warm water (90°F – 100°F). Maintain your high pressure nozzle, with a spray angle of 15° – 45°, within 18 inches of the surface.
Repeat Steps 1- 4 until your truck is clean.
Our most popular detergent combo to use for two-step cleaning are #1B-Foam for the 1st step and FCS #2B Neutralizer for the 2nd step.

2-STEP WASHING YOUR TANKER TRUCK

After cleaning your tractor first, start washing your tanker from the front towards the back in sections of 8-10 feet wide.
  1. Using your pressure washer or foamer system, apply the 1st Step detergent (a low pH/acid) to the vehicle surface from the bottom of the vehicle to the top of the vehicle.
  2. Spray 2nd Step detergent (a high pH/alkaline) directly on top of the 1st Step detergent.
  3. Allow for a short dwell time 30-45 seconds. DO NOT ALLOW the chemical to dry on the surface
  4. Rinse your Tanker Truck, section by section, from top to bottom using warm water (90°F – 100°F). Maintain your high pressure nozzle, with a spray angle of 15° – 45°, within 18 inches of the surface.
Repeat Steps 1- 4 until your tanker is clean.
